Frank Kruszewski is a visionary leader that will work to build an even greater and more vibrant city that recognizes the rich history of Miami Beach, the diversity of its people and its increasing popularity as a place in which to live, work and vacation. His experiences have brought him to a point in life where he can make a real difference in the future of our city.
Frank was born and raised on Staten Island, New York. He graduated from Richmond College with a degree in mathematics and secondary school education. After graduation he taught high school in New York and New Jersey; and eventually became the assistant principal of La Salle Academy in New York City. Frank moved to Clearwater, Florida in 1981 and began a career in information technology. He worked in the IT industry for Digital Equipment Corporation, Compaq and for NDS America, a subsidiary of NEWS Corporation. In 2005 he started a new career as a real estate professional. He is currently a licensed real estate agent working with Gary Hennes Realtors.
Frank served as president of the Sunset Harbour South Condo Association and as president of the Sunset Harbour Neighborhood Association. He served for four years on the Citizens Police Advisory Board and currently serves as the Vice-Chairman of the City of Miami Beach’s Budget Advisory Committee.
Frank is a member of the Board of Realtors, a Pillar Trustee of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce. He serves on the Executive Board of SAVE (Safeguarding American Values for Everyone) and continues to be very involved in civic and charitable organizations.
Frank and his partner David Lammerding have lived in their Sunset Harbour home since 1999, and they will celebrate 10 years together in March 2007.
The next city commission must look beyond where Miami Beach is today, and continue making progress, toward a new and even more vibrant city. Frank Kruszewski has the skill, knowledge and dedication to make that happen.
